At today's plenary session, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Senator Ita Enang, announced all 46 bills before the house and then Senate President, David Mark, immediately called for votes on all the 46. He gave consent to all the "Ayess" which resulted in a rowdy session as those who were against the manner in which the bills were passed voiced their objection. The Senate President however told the aggrieved Senators to come tomorrow for consideration
This is indeed awesome, but why have they kept the bill at the house for so long, just because on the 4th of June, their tenure will end, probably, thats the reason they rushed with the bill.
Right now, many did not go well with the bills but the Ayess confirmed it all, so with this, Nigerians are calling for Senators to give them details of the bills because they are afraid, whether the bills states that "they should not eat anymore or go to toilet" Nigerians are always funny including our Senators!
